invite you to play the very finest golf courses along the North Carolina coast. Uncrowded
course conditions and all-day greens fees set these courses apart from the often crowded
courses 50 miles south at Myrtle Beach. Blockade Runner golfers enjoy excellent year-round weather, with prime golfing seasons in the fall and spring. Our on-site golf director can arrange a golf tournament format for groups. Other arrangements for individual foursomes also can be made. Prices are available upon request. |

THE COURSES
| Belvedere Plantation
with its elevated greens, is a demanding 6361 yard, par 72 Russel Burney course design
with Bermuda fairways and greens, featuring wildlife filled lakes. Although not an
extremely long course, missing the greens makes par a challenge and an enjoyable course
for all handicaps. Echo Farms GoU & Country Club is a challenging Gene Hamm course with Bermuda fairways and Pentcross Bent grass greens. A 7302 yard, par 72 open holed landscape in the Scottish motif with woods similar to Pinehurst. Olde Point Golf Club, designed by Jerry Turner, is a 6883 yard, par 72 course with Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. Located near the Intracoastal Waterway, it is comfortable but challenging, with 13 sparkling lakes, rolling terrain, and Water Oaks draped with Spanish Moss. Topsail Greens Country Club is a winding 6331 yard, par 71 course located near the Intracoastal Waterway. An interesting, tree-lined course that twists around lakes and ponds. From the well-bunkered Bermuda greens to the island green of the 17th hole, an exciting round of golf can be played from the novice to the most experienced golfer. |
Beau Rivage
Plantation is the latest addition to the area courses. It is located near the Cape
Fear River. Featuring 28 naturally contoured Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass tees and
greens, this 6709 yard, par 72 course confronts the golfer with 56 bunkers and 11 holes
where water comes into play. Lockwood Golf Links, a relatively new William C. Byrd designed course, is nestled between the Lockwood Folly River and the Intracoastal Waterway. This handsome 6889 yard, par 72 course has Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. A true links style course with moguls and green sided bunkers that offers a true challenge. Porter's Neck Plantation is a magnificent course designed by the world-renowned Tom Fazio. One of the finest courses in the area. this 7209 yard, par 72 jewel features a gently rolling landscape of Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. A course that challenges the golfer with waste bunkers and water hazards that come into play on 8 holes The Cape Golf ~ Racquet Club is a meticulously maintained 6709 yard, par 72 course designed by Gene Hamm fronting an the Cape Fear River. A challenging course of narrow Bermuda fairways and well-bunkered greens that is protected by 24 lakes and ponds. Holes 15 & 17 feature a unique shared and elevated double green. |
