Wrightsville Beach Renourishement Project Is Completed!

Two views of the now completed beach renourishment project. View on the top is facing south (towards the Blockade Runner) and view on the bottom is facing north towards Shell Island. The pictures were taken from the end of Mercers Pier. Several million yards of beautiful sand have been pumped on the beach increasing the distance to the ocean by over 100 yards. These pictures were taken in May of 98'.
